I purchased a Tic Clip for each of my 2 dogs from the Only Natural Pet Store (onlynaturalpet.com) when nothing seemed to work to completely guard against ticks. I haven't seen another tick or flea on either dog in the 7 months they've been wearing them. This product is amazing! It's imported from Germany and you know they love their dogs! It's about $50 per tag initially but they are waterproof, safe, and last for 2 years so it ends up being a very cost effective remedy and it WORKS! I also give both dogs a daily supplement of brewers yeast and garlic (safe level) just as an added preventive. My house, yard, and dogs are virtually vermin free.

I have treated my dog with DE, Essential oils, fish or coconut oil (in his food) and natural dog food (FRR or HPN's life's abudance). This has worked for me for years for flea prevention. As of a few weeks ago this not working. I cleaned the house, yard and my dog top to bottom and it is better but not stopping them from jumping on him. He is picking them up from the community grass, I knew b/c I check him several times a day and after his has went outside. I wish I could avoid that grass but unfortunately there is no where else to go nearby.

Are you finding pets hard a hard time with fleas this summer? What do you think of the product called nature's defender (cedarcide) made with cedar oil?

Any feedback would be appreciated!

What are some effective ways to kill fleas/ticks and keep them off of pets? I put Frontline Plus on my female chihuahua and it burned her severely. I like Advantix, but are there any natural flea/tick control methods to use directly on pets? Thank you.
