I think Denver has gone crazy. Personally I know of one man who actually tried to make Denver “dog free”–he didn’t want anyone in Denver to even own a dog–any dog, because he was sick of dogs who were urinating on his precious lawn; he actually TRIED to get enough signatures on a petition & make it a LAW. And when I walked my dog, SAME general attitude being expressed…I’d walk block to block and every building had someone coming out yelling at me & others for our dogs peeing on the lawns, sidewalks, etc.

The dog-intolerance in Denver is epidemic.

And then when looking for an apartment to move into I see some apartments ACTUALLY have their “own rules” which are : No pure bred dogs–mixed breeds only.

This intolerance of any lifeform except people keeps up we’ll end up with the “dog nazi”, the one who wants it to be illegal to even own a dog, will get his way.

Sickening. Preach multiculturalism and love of diversity as long as that diversity doesn’t include animals. Sickening. Hypocrits!

Frankly, I’ll go one further : There should be a law which makes it illegal to refuse to rent to people with dogs (like they have for kids). Seriously, enough rentals do this at times that it’s nearly impossible to live any place with a dog. Problem being that if they don’t ban dogs with a law then they ban them via not allowing a person to live some place if they own a dog (rentals make these bans instead of a “law” doing it, but it has the same effect!!!).

Genocidal Maniacs who I beleive enjoy the
NOTORIETY,would it not make sense to send
to your new President who I understand is against BSL and from all reports I have had so far is a Decent Human Being

Well written article but you have failed to mention the Dangers of Cycling upward of 700
FATAL accidents per annum in the US and Swimming upward of 3000 DROWNINGS I will
only feel truly safe when these 2 DANGEROUS
passtimes are BANNED.
Although there are less than 20 FATAL dog
attacks per annum the US,I do agree with you
we must start the major crime prevention taking out all the dogs for 2 reasons:
1)To keep our police force safe,it is much safer
for them to knock on the Law-abiding citizens
doors and arrest their dogs than having to go
after real and Dangerous Criminals.
2)The Dogs for their Stupidity, of being the
only animal on the planet that has changed
character and become servile to the Human.

To quote Edmund Burke”ALL THAT IS NEEDED FOR EVIL TO SUCCEED IS THAT DECENT HUMANS DO NOTHING”
