I have less flies around the horses and barn since I started using them three years ago. I also make a homemade natural fly spray: Avon Skin so Soft, Vinegar, Eucalyptus Oil and Water. It is called Flies Be Gone and it's made by Safe Solutions Inc. You can find it and other Natural Pest Control options at: http://www.safesolutionsinc.com/Non-Toxic_Pest_Control.htm They also have a free online book that is quite extensive about how to control pests naturally called "The Best Control 2." You can find that in the Resources section of their site. I cannot tell you my results so far, as The Roach War of 2009 has just begun this week, but I learned a lot from this book and have high hopes that I will be able to stay committed to the natural approach this year. Hope this is a good resource for everyone else too. :-) -- (PS: Still not sure what to do about those Black Widows - but I'll keep working on it.)
